Stocks Giant Imperial Mix (Matthiola incana)

 Giant Imperial Mix has spires of elegant, tightly packed showy aromatic flowers and the scent which endeared it to generations of gardeners is especially strong in the evening. Prefers a cool location in full sun. Blooms in wonderful shades of blue, pink and white. Excellent both for bedding and cut flowers, this is a superb strain with a mixture of double and single flowers.

Plant in seedling trays (see our plastic seedling trays), from mid-summer to autumn. Make sure soil in trays is soft and friable by adding sand or similar. Protect seedlings from very harsh sun and heat.  Prefers a moist, well drained soil. Plant out in full sun or part shade. Allow 30cm between each plant. Don't overwater or the plants roots will rot. Liquid manure will keep the plants moving and increase size of flower. Will grow to approx. 35 to 45cm.

This listing is sold by weight.  Each packet will have 1/2 of a gram of seed.  The seed count is approx. 250 - 280 seeds per packet
