Up for auction is a stone carved Prisoner of War/Trench Art Bible.

Carved from stone it has the Initials “E.S.S.” carved on the front and “Bybel” on the back. This item could only date from the Boer War or WWI German South West Africa.

The dimensions are 33 X 43 X7mm and it has a small chip to the front, top right-hand corner.

All and all a rare collectable piece.
