PHLOGOPITE.
Palaborwa Mine, Limpopo Province, South Africa.
Named from "Phlogopos", Greek for "fire like" because it often displays a reddish tinge.
Phlogopite is a member of the Mica group of minerals, a sheet silicate that forms flat, platy crystals typical of micas. Crystals have a characteristic golden-orange to red colour.

A nice specimen with crystals laying in different planes to each other, approx, 85mm wide x 75mm high.
