This looks like sterling silver, it's heavy too. On the bowl is printed Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland.
We found this bowl in Bethlehem. The children were playing on top of a koppie when they saw it stick out of the ground, so they dug it out. I tried to find some information about it and all I know now is that this bowl come from ships during the great war times. People used to cook in it. They made small places under the ground where they were hiding, and that is where we found this bowl. Mabe you can find some more infomation about it... :)
