This collar is uniquely designed to train a dog to stop barking for no reason. It is lightweght and waterproof, and uses an adjustable stretch collar. It operates off the vibrations of the dog's throat and emits an ultra-sonic sound, audible only to the dog. There is no shocking or any other inhumane procedure. Should there be an intruder, or a cat in the vicinity then the dogs reflexes will overcome the irritation from the ultra-sonic sound, and they will still bark. Because it operates by vibrations given off by your pet when they bark, it will not be set off by other dogs barking nearby. There is a soft audible noise given off for the owner to hear, to confirm that the collar is working.

The salesmistress reaction and delevary of stop bark collar was supporb, but the collar itself does'nt do the work as I was suspecting.

Very helpful and was able to answer all my questions. Unfortunately the sonic collar doesnt work on my Basset Hound - its best for smaller dogs.
