Leather Strop

Hand made straight razor strop, manufactured by ShaveHavenSA in South Africa. Through personal need and some research we decided that this design of strop will be the most effective and user friendly.

7.5 cm - wide 

52 cm - total length

38 cm - strop surface 

2.5 mm - Cow leather front side - leather personally chosen from Tannery 

Includes 2.5 mm cotton backing for Chromium Oxide or diamond spray (Spray / Chromium Oxide not included) 

D-Ring construction for easy hooking. D-Ring on all corners allow for easy flip to do Oxide strop. 

TIP: Put spray or paste on the inside part of cotton backing, turn strop upside down and hang leather towards body for better control. See picture below for demonstration 

Leather treated with Neatsfoot cream for a perfect drag.

Every strop is tested by myself with my own personal straight razor to make sure its in perfect condition.

All parts can be replaced if damage should occur.

Please note that this product is hand made and will not resemble a machine manufactured product. Every strop will look slightly different due to nature of manufacture.

This strop will outlast you if well maintained.
