This guitar is one i used another neck on. I like the idea of a strat with a telecaster headstock. So i made one.
This guitar sounds like a stratocaster. You have to plug it in to hear it. I love the sound of a Fender Stratocaster and this one does it well. I stripped the original finish of the guitar and put on my own finish. I call it "blue jeans".
The fretboard is a birdseye maple cap on a maple neck and the body is Alder.
i Put a "David Gilmour Mod" in it. With the mini toggle switch on and the pickup selector switch is in the bridge pickup position, the neck pickup is also active giving it a Telecaster kind of sound. When the pickup selector in the bridge and middle position, all the pickups are simultineously on. Again a different sound.
You will have to hear it for yourself. I played it and it sound great.
