Name written on first end page. Front end page removed. Clean inside , binding intact. There is a large loose map. I do not know if it was originally part of the book.
This book was the first to present all the salient facts available, at the time of publication, in a single English volume. 
The jacket is shelf rubbed and torn at the corners and spine ends where there is a little paper loss.
