STRIKING LARGE BALTIC AMBER DROP PENDANT IN STERLING SILVER

 This stunning piece is large and heavy without being hefty. It features a large organically pear-shaped Baltic amber cabochon bezel set in sterling silver as the pendant. The softly polished amber has a gorgeous rich honey hue with marvellous natural inclusions, a lovely contrast with the bright, icy silver. Openwork beneath the amber allows light through the gemstone, maximising the warmth and glow of the amber. The pendant measures 3,9 cm (39mm) long x 19mm wide and is a solid 11mm thick (side view measurement). It is threaded on a 50cm long dainty cable link sterling silver chain. The piece weighs a solid 12.1 grams which ensures it hangs well on the neck, and the piece is hallmarked with '925' indicating sterling silver. Amber is always such a fabulous timeless asset to the jewellery box!
