STRIKING LARGE REAL PREHNITE, RUBY, EMERALD & SAPPHIRE STERLING SILVER RING BLACK RHODIUM FINISH

This beautiful ring is as bold and dramatic as it appears in the photographs. A large ring head (32 mm x 25 mm) the ring is made out of a really solid sterling silver cage-like stucture. The shank is quite wide (5mm all the way round) and slightly domed for comfortable wear. The ring head is particularly solid underneath to support the three separate layers of gemstones. The outermost layer are dark blue round cut sapphires, the middle layer round cut rubies and the central layer emeralds. They all lead up to a beautiful luminous natural prehnite raised and rounded cabochon gemstone of the most intriguing greenish greyish colour. The entire ring presents itself a splendid 15 mm abovethe finger. The sapphires, rubies and emeralds are all natural earth-mined with loads of fascinating inclusions. Its an interesting contrast where natural organic earthmined stones have been set in a formal ring design. The overall shape of the ring head is a slightly extended oval that points into a hint of the marquise shape. Further drama is provided by the black rhodium finish, making the colours of the gemstones pop. A classic ring in many ways but unexpectedly modern with the thick solid, shank and black rhodium finish.
