UNUSUAL VINTAGE STERLING SILVER PENDANT WITH NATURAL AMBER AND AMETHYST GEMSTONES. DECORATIVE OPENWORK ON 48cm LEATHER CHAIN
This unusual piece is a gorgeous display of natural amber in a rather unusual design. The amber round cabochons, featuring three different colours of natural amber including deep honey, golden honey and opaque honey, are set into an intricate openwork rectangular sterling silver pendant that has slightly curved sides, softening the edges. A number of different-sized openwork circles fill the frame. There are also 3 x large round cut natural amethysts. The pendant is heavy (8,24 grams) and large and showy, measuring 32mm long x 20mm wide and is threaded on a 48cm brown leather thong with an adjustable metal clasp. The pendant is hallmarked as sterling silver. It is a beautiful piece of well crafted and unusual jewellery.
