DROP AND DANGLE EARRINGS. LARGE. SENSATIONAL!

These striking earrings are eye-catching! The dangle features a large pear-shaped blue chalcedony claw set in sterling silver has the starring role. An opaque blue colour with what I would describe as aquamarine colour undertones (i.e. elements of creamy turquoise colour) with expert faceting, the real gemstone contrasts strongly with its dark border. The whole piece is created out of solid sterling silver and then finished in a dark gunmetal silver colour for a bit of drama. Linking the central the central element is an openwork design featuring round cut bright blue and lilac stones. These stones are note real gemstones. It was a difficult one to photograph as the camera doesn't pick up the sparkle but an interesting feature of these earrings is the contrast between the natural gemstones and the sparkle of the cubics. The stud features a smaller pear cut blue chalcedony also surrounded by dark stones. A sterling silver link joins the two elements facilitating plenty of movement. The earrings are large - at 45mm long x 20mm wide - for very noticeably glamour and at just over 15 grams they are nice and heavy without being uncomfortable on the ear. The hallmark 925 indicating sterling silver appears. The total effect of the gemstone colour combination with the leading edge design is glamour all the way!
