SOLID SILVER NECKLACE WITH GREEK MOTIF. INTERESTING HINGES AND ETCHED DETAILING. PLATINUM AND SILVER. HEAVY - 111,4 grams!

This unusual piece features beautifully crafted Mexican silver with a Greek motif; the large links are well hinged, almost puzzle-like, interlinking with soft organic, rounded edges.The motifs are deep etched, quite dark against the particularly bright, white silver that is typical of Mexican silver. The necklace measures 41,7cm long and weighs a seriously hefty 111,4 grams, which ensures the piece sits well on the neck. The clasp is flat and very secure - making use of an interlocking system that makes sure the heavy necklace is secure and neat once it is closed. The piece bears both the platinum (950) and sterling silver (925) hallmarks, as well as the origin hallmark for Mexico. It has a few buff marks to speak of its gentle age but generally in excellent condition.
