I love vintage clothing and I think the way the dresses were made in earlier years with so much attention to detail cannot be matched today. I choose only vintage fashion icons and items that are in good to mint condition.

Another addition to the family is this beautiful late 1960's bright purple evening dress or cocktail dress

This dress is a classical 1960 style type of dress. It has a straight cut  and should sit tight. It is made from a bright purple polyester fabric that is slightly embossed. It has a tight fit around the waist and the upper body and the skirt is straight.The material will keep you warm and it is a dress for long summer nights or with a sexy black short jacket it can be worn in winter as well.  

It is in very good condition. There is a very small patch under the arm where the material is a little bit bleached out but only for like 1 cm and it is not really noticeable.

It is a hand sewn costume designer dress.The fabric is comfortable to wear. The top is hand embroidered with white sequins. A real eye catcher. This dress is a killer and if you wear it with funky bright high heels or plateau shoes you will not be overseen. The bright and bold sixties with a little bit of glam and rock'n roll but still elegant. 

The size of the dress is not specified but it is a size 10 or 36. My mannequin is a size 36.

I do not alter, change or restore items so I recommend to have clothes dry cleaned before wearing them.

Shipping for this item in South Africa will cost 40.00 Rand inclusive packaging, registered and insured.

The estimated time of arrival for an item at it's destination in South-Africa is one week. For international destination two weeks is the average. Sometimes it can be a little bit more.
