I HOPE I GOT THIS RIGHT BUT MY QUITE DETAILED RESEARCH POINTS IN THIS DIRECTION :- THE SET WAS MADE BY SAMMUEL STRAHAN (S.S) IN THE CITY OF LONDON (the leopard mark) USING .925 PURE STERLING SILVER (the lion) IN 1868 ( the N mark); AND DUTY WAS PAID TO THE CROWN (the Queen Victoria mark). THE MONARCH MARKS WERE LATER ABOLISHED IN 1890.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HALLMARKED TEASPOON SET AND THE SCRAP METAL VALUE ALONE IS WORTH R1500.00 PLUS...(HOPEFULLY IT DOES NOT GO THAT WAY). A VERY VERY COLLECTABLE SET AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!
