WHEN I LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFULLY HAND WORKED LACE DOILEY THE ONLY WORD THAT COMES TO MIND IS WOW !!! THIS MUST HAVE TAKEN MRS. VICTORIAN, HOURS AND HOURS OF WORK AND PATIENCE. IT HAS BEEN CROCHETED WITH THE FINEST OF THREADS, I WOULD SAY NOT MUCH THICKER THAN SEWING MACHINE THREAD. THIS DOILEY WOULD BE SPECTACULAR FRAMED AND PRESERVED FOR GENERATIONS TO COME, NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE TIME OR THE INCLINATION TO PRODUCE ART WORK LIKE THIS THESE DAYS. THERE ARE SOME AREAS OF SLIGHT DAMAGE, TO BE EXPECTED OF AN OLD PIECE SUCH AS THIS, BUT NOTHING TOO SERIOUS !! PLEASE ENLARGE THE PICTURES AND HAVE A GOOD LOOK BEFORE BIDDING.
