There is scant detail about this 19th Century landscape artist’s life although his work has sold well on auctions internationally. His work is particularly prized on auctions in London. This painting is very finely painted with superb detail. It is framed but the frame is old and will need to be replaced.

I have had the painting beautifully restored and it has been lined.

Both shipping and insurance will be for the buyer's account. The painting can be fetched from Port Elizabeth at no charge or couriered to you using your choice of courier. You can choose whether or not you wish to insure the painting. I typically use Postnet using their service whereby they deliver to your nearest Postnet. They will charge about a hundred rand and are very reliable, usually delivering within 3 working days.
