 Boris Chezar used a specific method of "sand over oil paint" painting which has become extremely sought after of late. The artist passed away in 2008.

Some history on Boris Chezar: He was born in 1913 in New York. A graduate of Cooper Union, his work has been shown at the Brooklyn Museum, the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., the St Louis Art Museum and major galleries throughout New York City.
