This highly collectable Carlton Ware embossed pale yellow teapot is hand decorated with the very desirable foxglove pattern. It was made in the 1940s in England.
Height 9 cm
Length Spout to Handle 19 cm.
Condition: very good. Please note there is a minute chip (maximum 2 mm wide and 1/2 mm deep) in the base, which I only discovered when inspecting the teapot with a magnifying glass (please view picture of base). Otherwise the condition is absolutely perfect.
The value of this Foxglove Carlton Ware Teapot is in excess of R1,500.
