This custom-made frame by hand using a method of shaping and carving utilising clay as a base, and building these up from the frame base. The style of the frame is equivalent to those seen in the late 19th - early 20th Century framers, and is uniquely made for the individual art canvas.
This stunning frame houses an original oil painting of a finely detailed masterpiece of a Dutch Village Scene of buildings and street scene. The brush strokes are that of a master artist - extremely fine and layered in many hues to form the whole picture (see photos!).
The artist signature is present on this piece, being "van Laeken, Y". Please see photos for the condition of the frame as well. The overall condition of the painting is excellent!

Note on packaging and shipping of this item: I shall bubble-wrap and double box the painting for postage, however I will prefer shipping via courier service due to the fragile nature of the item.
