The piece is in an GOOD, USED CONDITION-Cast Graphic Design Relief is present and detailed. Pipe remains in a Good State and has been utilised.Appropriate Signs of Wear evident due to handling. A degree of surface toning & verdigris may be noted in several portions. The piece is structurally sound- with Figural bowl securely mounted to the extended stem. The mouthpiece has been sealed with a small droplet of lead post-manufacture. Piece is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of an Early 20th Century, South-East Asian / Thai Cast Bronze Opium Pipe w/ Mythical Figure. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state of preservation, with detailed Graphic Relief on  frontal portion. All parts appear present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Surface wear in the form of toning and verdigris may be noted. The integral copper ornamentation is present on the extended stem - as well as - a detailed mythical figure of a Buddhist Kinnara / Garuda representing the bowl portion. 

This piece appears to have been temporarily sealed with a droplet of lead on the mouthpiece- after the process of manufacturing. A Cast Bronze Pipe of this variety , would have been utilised to administer both Tobacco & Opium during the early decades of the 1900s. 

The ideal addition to any Early 20th Century Era, Thai / Oriental Cast Bronze figure collection or display- for the enthusiast seeking a unique period piece for their assortment.
