***Long Legged Mantle Clock ****

Made in France.

Please see damage to face at 2 'O clock. The damage looks more pronounced in the photo than what it really is.

NB NB►► The clock is more silver in colour than what it appears in the photos.

Has a key.

(Please have a good look at all the 10 photos. It may take a while to download.)

Old French mantle clock. The frame of the clock is made from metal. It could have been plated at some stage as in places the brass/bronze has rubbed through.

I am not sure how old this clock is, but believe it to be over 100 years old. It is stamped "1782" on the underside, but I doubt if this has anything to do with date of manufacture.

Please ask questions if unsure about anything before bidding.

The clock is working and runs well. It must however be understood that old clocks like these do not keep time as well as modern clocks.

The clock stands ± 230mm tall. The diameter of the top part is ± 145mm.

Please note that old clocks do not travel well in the postal system. I do wrap and pack the clocks very well, but I cannot be held responsible for drop damage in transit.
