SHOWSTOPPING FLORAL DESIGN FIRE OPAL AND NATURAL RUBY STERLING SILVER Y-PENDANT NECKLACE. 

This dramatic piece has huge visual appeal. Well embellished, the floral design sterling silver necklace features three segments linked and attached to a flat sterling silver snake chain. The central segment features a large iridescent fire opal cabochon claw set in sterling silver with two matching, but smaller fire opals in 'V' below it. 4 detailed silver leaves - 2 on each side - cup the large opal, linking to 2 simple gold bonded daisies, both with textured curved petals and a round cut bezel set pinkish ruby in the centre. This whole element is repeated on either arm of the 'Y' of the pendant and twice, side by side on the tail of the 'Y'. A single sterling silver leaf hangs down at the very centre of the tail. The top two elements link to a sterling silver snake link chain at the top and to the lower two elements with a big cable link, allowing movement at those points so that the neckpiece sits flat. I love the whimsical little butterflies that sit on the daisies! The pendant is 73mm long x 120mm wide, and the flat snake link chain is 185mm on each side - 2mm in width all the way round. A heavy 30,5 grams, this piece is beautifully made and carries the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver. It is a gorgeous piece, beautifully made, creative in concept and featuring genuine opals and rubies!
