Wow, this is a stunning example of old oriental soapstone (I think), beautifully and skillfully carved with birds and flowers. This vase is in stunning condition, there is a natural flaw in the stone that looks like a crack but I think it is a natural flaw on the stone. Soapstone is a really old material that has been used prolifically in Oriental carvings for many a year. it is 19cms high, 18cms long and approx 7cms wide, postage will be 90.00.
