Hi there, this is a lovely handmade and hand-painted Japanese Satsuma vase. Satsuma is a highly collectable and valuable form of Japanese ceramic art, with some pieces fetching many thousands of pounds.

This vase has extreme detail with a raised dragon which has been beautifully painted in gold. The nice thing about this vase is its condition - very good - It has no chips or cracks.

Please see the last photo with a wine bottle for size perspective.

Original satsuma has a Japanese stamp, showing its pre 50's.
