Stunning Old Vintage Rare original Russian Military Watch "Vostok" "Komandirskie" - the early edition when this type of watches were made specially only for USSR Army officers. Its inscribed at the bottom: "by order of Ministry of Defense". Still very good looking condition, perfect dial, no scratches on the glass, new leather strap. Keeps time, 3 month movement warranty. Size: 44 x 42 x 12 mm.

Vostok company story starts back in 1942 when one of the Moscow watch-making plants was evacuated from Moscow to a little Russian town located on The Kama River. Defense equipment was the only Vostok company output during war years, but as soon as the war was over factory started making mechanical wrist watches - main production item ever since.
