These very early (probably late-1800s) solid brass Carl Zeiss binoculars are in stunning condition, still with original leather handles and with very minor dings. The optics are still good. Unfortunately one eyepiece is missing. Has "Carl Zeiss Jena, D.R.P." on one side and "Feldstecher Vergr = 8" on the other. At one time these were on display in the "Boer War" Section of the Midmar Historical Village before being auctioned off when it closed down.
