GORGEOUS BRIGHT GREEN EMERALD AND DIAMOND 9CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD RING. WELL HALLMARKED

This gorgeous vintage piece from England has an interesting triple step design, the 15 X 13mm ring head has a base of 20 round-cut natural emeralds totalling 0,20 carats claw set in yellow gold, supporting a raised plinth of 12 small single-cut diamonds claw-set in white gold, which in turn supports a raised glowing emerald solitaire of 0,90 carats. The colour is particularly bright green, with lots of natural interesting natural inclusions. The raised solitaire is in the middle at the highest point 7mm above the finger. The pedigree of the piece is indicated by the hallmarks 375 indicating 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature, and although I bought it from a vintage specialist in Birmingham, it has the Sheffield Assay mark. An eye-catching and collectable piece of English jewellery.
