YELLOW GOLD STUD EARRINGS. 375

I found these gorgeous gold stud earrings at my favourite vintage jeweller in England - these beautifully cut trillion-faceted amethyst 9ct yellow gold stud earrings are quite spectacular on! The gemstones are set on elongated claws that allow the maximum light to refract through the amethyst, maximising the sparkle. Under the magnifying glass, the colour and prism-like cut are amazing! Measuring 9mm on each side, they weigh 2,2 grams together. They are studs, so they sit nicely on the lobe of the ear but at 9mm each side, a reasonable size to draw attention. They also have a good solid feel to them without being overly heavy to wear. Their pedigree is evident in the hallmarks - the Birmingham Assay mark, the jeweller's signature, the date 2007 and the 375 hallmark indicating genuine 9ct gold. Really beautiful! Please just read the specifications carefully as the photographs do make the earrings look larger than in real life.
