STUNNING VINTAGE MYSTERY SKELETON WATCH

 This is a vintage skeleton watch I acquired in the late 1980's early 1990's when skeleton watches were the rarity. When I put it on my wrist it was always a talking point and got attention. Nowadays skeleton watches are all over the place and come in all shapes and sizes. This one has no makers marks except for 17 jewels on its mainspring barrel. It measures 35 mm including crown and is in good condition all round, there is some wear on the casing but other than that is very presentable. Casing is more rose gold than images show. The factor that I have not worn it in years means that it will now need a service. I have fitted a new leather strap and given it a wipe over. Balance wheel is good and hands turn as they supposed to. I have never seen another one like this so its very much a mystery skeleton and a interesting time piece.
