Description: Vintage ARMCHAIR with "SAS - SAR" (Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee - South African Railways) engravings. Seems to be made from a combination of Mahogany, Meranti and Imbuia woods. These are real pieces of Africana. Condition: Very good/good used condition, some usage and age related wear and tear, which is mostly stains/marks on the wood. Very sturdy, no obvious cracks in the wood. Seat has been re-upholstered. Seat does not look like it is the original one, but it obviously is not visible from the top. This is purely mentioned for the sake of clarity. The framework recently underwent a minor refurbishment, so it is in "clean" condition. Must be seen to be appreciated! Approximate size: 600mm wide (front) x 520mm deep x 790mm high (back). Other: Slight colour variations possible between picture and real item.
