These beautiful Wooden Coin Chests (they are HUGE) were originally made to store & display the “Cape Coin Heritage” set of thirty large hallmarked replicas of coins that circulated at the Cape of Good Hope in the olden days.

I have two cabinets / chests available (no coins included) that are in beautiful condition with their original keys included. I think they were made in Yellowwood and Stinkwood but I am not sure. A Dutch tile is recessed on the top of each.

The empty chests can be used to store and display thirty crown-size coins or medallions.

You are bidding per cabinet

The only shipping option is courier to your front door at R300 for cities or R400 to other towns within South Africa (The parcel is HUGE weighing upwards to 5 kilograms). If you win both items, I unfortunately cannot combine these shipping fees. Personal collection in the Western Cape will also be allowed.
