CREATED BY A CREATIVE BUNCH OF (ONLY) WOMEN POTTERS IN OLIFANTSFONTEIN DURING THE SHORT PERIOD OF 1943- appox 1955 (records disagree about the exact date of the factory's closure) LINNWARE HAS COME TO EPITOMISE THE BEST OF SOUTH AFRICAN ARTS AND CRAFTS pottery & is highly prized by discerning collectors.
