Sui Generis - Vida CD

Charly Garcia had a similar creativity and ability to master different sounds/styles as Spinetta. As a pure folky pop/rock album this one is just lovely, simple but just lovely on your ears. Still an incredible album with loads of variety, a few standouts that are among some of my favourite songs ever. I definitely appreciate this more as an album now, its variety is really impressive whilst maintaining a lovely thematic and sonic thread throughout. The tracks just do what they're intended to and not more, not really too short, just succinct little explorations of sound that form a very mellow, bittersweet, and nostalgic whole.
