Possibly the tallest sunflower ever bred!

Hardy annual. Easy to grow and a real favourite with children.  Use petals and seeds in salads and cakes.

A true giant. With a name like 'Giraffe'  they easily  tower  another metre over their competitors. Each of the huge plants carries a single dinner-plate-sized flower that lasts for a few weeks.

Sunflowers are valuable from an economic as well as from an ornamental point of view. The leaves are used as fodder, the flowers yield a yellow dye, and the seeds contain oil and are used for food.

The seeds may be eaten dried, roasted, or ground into nut butter and are common in birdseed mixes.
