Botanical name: Helianthus annuus

Sunflower is a de-husked, creamy grey, oval seed. They are super fast sprouters and can be eaten within 2 days, or later if you prefer more of a leaf, thereby making it an excellent choice for microgreens.

Nutritional Value: Very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Thiamin, Vitamin 6, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Copper, Manganese and Selenium, and a very good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol).
