Sunstone belongs to the feldspar family and this tells you that it is a hard stone, thus very durable. It has a slight chatoyance like tigers eye. Pleasant color. We are very fortunate to have discovered this fine stone and to be able to work this into beads. Chip beads are inexpensive and are great for fillers.
