Suntide Lodge Qunu Falls is a fabulous getaway. Pride of the resort is the friendly peacock on patrol. If you’re lucky, he’ll come and knock on the door of your self-catering chalet. He’s not the only strange bird in the area though. The very rare, almost extinct Blue Swallow also nests in the area. In fact, the area is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 160 species nesting in the forest and surrounding hills.There are four hiking trails on-site, leading to grasslands and waterfalls, or enjoy guided walks in the surrounding area. Guided horse rides are also available from the resort, which is a great way to enjoy the forests around the resort! Suntide Lodge Qunu Falls offers a variety of activities that will keep all members of the family entertained throughout the duration of their stay.
