Superb antique hallmarked solid silver card case. Birmingham, 1890. 95mm / 59.7g

This "Minshull & Latimer" antique engraved silver card case is rectangular in shape with scalloped, curling sides and hinged lid. Hand-engraved front and back with central monogrammed cartouche.  The quality of artistic design and technical mastery is superb. Overall condition is very good for it's age.  Please note that there is a slight split (see last two pics). However, it opens and closes well.
