A lovely set of six Georgian silver dessert spoons made by one of the best spoon makers of the period, Richard Crossley. The spoons are assayed for London, 2 in 1790, 3 in 1791, and one in 1793. They are bear Crossley's mark and are all engraved with the same monogram (LM or IM - I think). The spoons are in the original old english pattern, hand made, measure 16.5cm and weigh 189 grams. They are in excellent condition for their 220 years of age and have lovely clear hallmarks. One for the collector.
