Superb 'Spherical Weight' bracket clock by Harding & Bazeley, , limited edition No 262 of 1000,excellent working order  THIS IS RARE THERE WERE  ONLY 1000 MADE OF THESE CLOCKS IN THE WORLD

This is a great example of a mid-20th century Spherical Weight bracket clock by Cheltenham clockmakers Harding & Bazeley. It's a substantial timepiece in  brass mounted on a mahogany base with compressed bun brass feet, and is driven by the action of a series of heavy chromed steel balls on a large wheel. Gravity takes the balls from the helical slide on top of the clock onto the wheel which gives impetus to the movement. Every three hours or so a ball reaches the bottom of the wheel and drops into the felt-covered well, ready to be loaded back onto the slide.
These clocks are beautifully put together in heavy guage brass, and it features a classic engraved dial with the Harding & Bazeley details in a cartouche. This  clock will knead a good  clean  but will leave  it up to you and is offered in excellent working order, including the lever escapement.
CONDITION: Excellent -  serviced and in fine working order .
SIZE: It stands 34cm  high, 21cm across and 21cm deep. It weighs over 6kg. shipping will be R60
