This item is secondhand and in great condition. This solid brass and stainless steel Miner's Oil Lamp No 321903 (Cambrian Safety Lamp Manufactory) is made using the traditional Welsh specifications. The brass and stainless model was often used in the mines. The base of this lamp is tooled from solid brass because brass does not spark when it hits rock and therefore the safest metal to use underground. The lamp is functional for personal use and burns lamp oil (kerosene). The lamp measures 90 mm in diameter and 250 mm high - weighs 1.5 kg and comes with a short history/instruction sheet.
