While the series was shortened a little due to the writers’ strike that was ongoing in America while it was being made, the sixteen episodes in this Supernatural boxset nonetheless offer ample entertainment. Cleverly weaving together action, comedy and horror, it builds and improves on the second season, and while it may rush things a little come the finale, it’s still a terrific and underrated programme. Here’s looking forward to season four.
