SUZIE COOPER DINNER SERVICE

On offer this unbelievable offer of a 32pc SUZIE COOPER Dinner service on the R1 N/R Auction. This valuable and highly collectible set consists of 6 x Dinner Plates, Salad Plates, Cereal Bowls, Desert Bowls, Side plates as well as a Serving Bowl and 2 Vegetable Tureens with handles (no lids). The design (1171 - Dresden Spray) has a green band on white background with a spray of lilac, cerise, pink and yellow flowers amongst green foliage. This pattern came into production in 1935 and became an undoubted best-seller and remained in production until the late 1950's. The set has no chips or cracks but some discolouration evident on some of the items, most notibly on 4 of the salad plates, on the inside base of the serving bowl and some scratches on the green band on some of the items, as can be expected from a set this old (see last 3 pics below). Measurements: Dinner plates (D - 25.5cm), Salad Plates (D - 23cm), Side plates (D - 18cm), Cereal bowls (D - 19.5cm, H - 3.5cm), Desert Bowls (D- 16.5cm, H - 3.5cm), Serving Bowl (D - 24cm, H - 7cm), Veg Tureens (D - 21cm, H - 7cm).

Please note the book "Suzie Cooper Ceramics - A Collector's Guide" is not included, just for display purposes.
