Great reads for WWII / World War 2 lovers.

This renown Danish author's novels are about German soldiers fighting in World War II, on the Eastern Front.  He joined the merchant navy as a cabin boy when he was 14 and worked on ships until his military service in 1936.  He then joined the German Army and served in tank units during World War II - so his stories are really authentic and from a different perspective to the norm.

The covers are in various conditions from okay to good - but the inside pages are all good.
