A rare SWA pattern CIVVIE NUTRIA back=pack - with traceable history and used by 101Bn (Owambo) who were the Army version of KOEVOET units, 101Bn also saw action in Angola together with 32Bn.

Includes an aluminium butterfly frame - the straps seem to have been replaced by the previous owner (field repairs/ upgrades?) and are later pattern 83 issue versions - please see photos

Please see the attached photos for more details of this unique piece, good overall condition, label states "made in the the republic of South Africa". This pack may have been a private purchase/ unit specific issue -seems similar to early Karrimor/ three spears packs I have seen before?
