A very rare SWA pattern 83 battle-jacket - with traceable history and used by 101Bn (Owambo) who were the Army version of KOEVOET units, 101Bn also saw action in Angola together with 32Bn.

please see the attached photos for more details of this unique piece, including the padding added by the previous owner whilst in the field! of particular interest is the colour of the pouches - a olive green nylon (similar to other KOEVOET pieces which I have seen) as well as the 50 round mag pouch - as favored by the CASSPIR based 101 Bn/ KOEVOET teams!

Good overall condition, in the original (dirty) condition as I received it!

Included in the auction is an original period item 1,5l "civvie" type water-bottle with custom hessian added for field cooling of water!

Vests of this type have been seen used by SWASPES/ Recce's/ 32 Bn and Koevoet!
