Here on auction we have a original SWA/ Angola era used & issued SADF olive green patt 70/73 type cotton canvas MAG 58 LMG weapon sling with wider (loose) shoulder pad.

PLEASE note that this is an actual used item - and it seems that the unit tailor was asked to add a piece of fire-proof material at the barrel end to prevent the hot LMG barrel burning through the strap - field mod.

A genuine border war era/ SWA-Angola bushwar period used/ issued item.

Heavy metal clips at either end in great condition (not bent open).

Used condition and "named" with what appears to be a weapon number writen on the loose shoulder pad.
