Swarovski Grizzly Cub with Fish (Item #261925). - Retired

Capture the playful spirit of the wilderness with this iconic creation from Swarovskis celebrated "Rare Encounters" series. Designed by renowned master artisan Heinz Tabertshofer, this exquisite figurine depicts a young grizzly bear triumphantly holding a silver-accented fish in its mouth a charming nod to the ancient salmon runs of North Americas pristine rivers.

Crafted in Austria with Swarovskis signature precision-cut clear crystal, the cub features a brilliantly faceted body contrasted by a smoothly molded head and fine metallic accent work. Introduced in 2001 and retired from production in 2006.

• Design Inspiration: Heinz Tabertshofer drew inspiration from documentary footage of wild bears fishing along river rapids. The contrast between the brilliant, clear crystal facets and the sleek metallic fish gives the figurine a dynamic, story-driven character.

• Rarity & Value: Being retired in 2006 after a limited 5-year production run, the original mold was destroyed per Swarovski's policy for retired collections, ensuring long-term scarcity on the secondary art market.
