Tafelberg, 243 pages, No dust jacket, brown hardcover with white lettering, small cut and tear on the edge of the book towards the front, a sticker inside front cover, otherwise good condition overall, tight binding.
Hardcover, burgundy cloth, black details and lettering, SOLID binding, some water / weather damage and staining as well as yellowing inside front and back cover (see images below) as well as some rubbing damage along the top edge of the pages (see images).
Otherwise good overall condition for its age!!
BID NOW!! Francois Alwyn (Frans) Venter (27 November 1916 8 July 1997) was a prominent Afrikaans writer of the 20th century. His novels explored biblical religious themes, or cultural identities in the South African context. Swart pelgrim on the other hand relates the experiences and observations of a migrant from a black rural setting to the industrialised, white-dominated environment.
